Mildred L. Schubbe

Mildred Lucille Schubbe, age 93 has entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Mapleton, MN. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mapleton. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday at St. Teresa Catholic Church and continue one hour before the service on Saturday. Olson – Tichenor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mildred was born January 15, 1924 to Paul and Theresa (Fredrick) Denn in Mankato. She was united in marriage to Norbert Schubbe on May 14, 1946 in St. Clair, MN. They moved to Mapleton where Mildred owned and operated a daycare in her home for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by three daughters, Carol (Bruce) Kramer of Mankato, Luann Frandle (Bob) of Mapleton, Lynn Howley (Jim) of Eagle Lake; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Lisa) Kramer, Shauna (Randall) Anderson, Cammy (Mike) Liggett, Nate Frandle (Amy), Garin (Brittany) Frandle, Amber (Hans) Hettinga, Dustin (Kelly) Howley; 28 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Langworthy of Mapleton; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norbert in 1992; son, Jerry in 1955; grandchildren, Kimberly Ullrich and Levi Frandle; and seven brothers and sisters.

She will be dearly missed.
