Lenore “Ginger” C. Seppman, age 95 of Mankato died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Laurel’s Edge in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery rural Mankato. Memorial may be given to Mayo Clinic Hospice or The School Sisters of Notre Dame. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Lenore “Ginger” C. Seppman was born August 2, 1921 in Mankato to Archie and Elsie (Koehler) Knapp. In her early years she worked at the Knapp family grocery store and at Automatic Electric. On September 7, 1948 Ginger was united in marriage to Lyle Seppman at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. They had a double wedding with Ginger’s sister Arline and Lyle’s brother Al. Ginger was a home maker and helped with the family business.

Ginger and Lyle were charter members of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She volunteered her time with the church organizing and planning social functions at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. She enjoyed traveling, word puzzles and Bell tones.

Ginger is survived by two children, Lynn (Darlene) Seppman of Chaska, MN, Janeen (Ralph) Jaeger of Mankato; four grandchildren, Brian (Rachel) Seppman, Wendy (Larry) Gallucci, Shannon Jaeger and Kelly Jaeger; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Noelle, Lauren Gallucci, Carter and Avery Seppman; sister, Delores “Dottie” Wortel of Mankato; many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle in 2012; three sisters, Eunice Brown, Gladys French, and Arline “Sweetie” Seppmann.
