Kenneth W. Lloyd

Kenneth Willard Lloyd, 75 of North Mankato, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation center in Mankato.

Funeral will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2017 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Northview and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at Minneopa Cemetery.

Ken was born December 31, 1941 to Willard and Hazel (Kangas) Lloyd in New Ulm, MN. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1959 and received his Master’s degree from Mankato State University in Accounting. On April 22, 1978 he married Donna Martens. Together they raised their son, Steven. Ken worked as a bartender in the Mankato area. In his free time, Ken enjoyed volunteering for VINE, singing for various choirs in the Mankato area, playing handbells, and all sports, including playing golf and racquetball.

Ken is survived by his wife, Donna; Son, Steven (Christine); and sister, Suellen Lloyd. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Everett.
