Dale Eugene Larvick

Dale Eugene Larvick, 88, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Crystal Seasons, Lake Crystal, surrounded by family.

Dale was born June 9, 1928 to Louis and Sella (Carrier) Larvick at home on the family farm by Rapidan. He graduated from Rapidan High School. Dale married Geraldine (Daby) on September 9, 1950. Together they bought a farm by Pemberton. Besides farming, Dale worked for the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. He enjoyed playing the slots, horse racing, and trips to Las Vegas. Dale and Gere moved to Mankato in 1994.

Dale is survived by his wife, Gere, of Beacon at Lake Crystal; daughter, Cheryl (Collin) Bluhm of Mankato; son, Steve (Darcy) Larvick of Lake Crystal; grandchildren, Allison Bluhm and her husband Ryan Gohlinghorst of North Mankato, Tara Larvick of Bloomington, Kelly (Mark) Moser of Ham Lake, and Cody (Marisarah) Larvick of Lakeville; great-grandchildren, Vincent and Vayda of Lakeville; brother-in-law, Mark (Diane) Daby of Mankato; sister-in-law, Myrna (Jim) Winkelman of St. Clair; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold; and infant brother, Raymond.

Dale wishes to have a private family graveside service at a later date in spring at Calvary Cemetery, Rapidan.
