Dale L. Johnson

Dale Larry Johnson, 62 of Mankato died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Oaklawn Healthcare Center.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Mankato Mortuary in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Dale was born December 19, 1954 to Lawrence and Joyce (Bubolz) Johnson in Gaylord, MN. He graduated from LeSeuer High School in 1972. He worked as sous chef at the Radisson in downtown Minneapolis, MN. In his free time, Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, and socializing with family and friends.

Dale is survived by his children, Theresa (Tim) Swenson of Champlain, MN; David (Sara Berentson) Johnson of North Mankato; three grandchildren, Makayla Swenson and Dustin and Matthew Johnson; sisters,  Kathleen (John) Plaisance; Susan (Mike) Resch; and brothers; Doug Johnson, Allen (Jennifer) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Joyce Johnson; brothers, Gary Johnson and Kevin Johnson.
