Sumer Ann Krauskopf

Sumer A. Krauskopf, age 36, of Mankato, died on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Hennepin County Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Northview. 

Sumer was born on August 18, 1980 in Mankato to Steve Kirby and Sharon Pitchford.  She worked as a caretaker for Elm Homes for the last five years and loved her job.  Sumer was a fun loving, strong and generous person who enjoyed life.  She liked spending time with family and friends.  She loved her children. 

Sumer is survived by her three children, Skye, Jayden, and Zachary; sisters, Stephanie (Steve) McMullen and Mia Skalicky; brother, Derrick Krauskopf; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and loving dog, Brindle Lee.
