Clarence Earl Schultz

Clarence E. Schultz, 90, of Lake Crystal, died on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Crystal Seasons.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Lake Crystal Mortuary.  Burial will be at the Lake Crystal Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Clarence was born on October 5, 1926 in Morton, MN to Otto and Clara (Kropp) Schultz.  Clarence served in the United States Army from 1944-1946.  On November 30, 1947, Clarence was united in marriage to Delores Jean Nyberg in Morton, MN.  They lived in Redwood Falls, Milwaukee, WI, and then moved to Lake Crystal in 1969.  Clarence worked for Crysteel Distributing for many years before retiring in 1996.  He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting.  Most of all, Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Clarence is survived by three sons, Larry (Louise), Jim (Joann), and Randy (Kris) all of Lake Crystal; daughter, Ann (Al) Hagen of Mankato; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Schultz of Lake Crystal; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Schultz of Bird Island.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; infant son, Michael; son, Cal; granddaughter, Lexi Hagen; grandson, Michael Schultz; great-granddaughter, Isabella Schultz; brother, Bernard; and two sisters, Mildred and Virginia.
