Merry "Beth" Lossing

Merry “Beth” Elizabeth Lossing, 58 of Mankato, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Hope Interfaith Center, 114 Pohl Rd, in Mankato. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the center. The family prefers memorials be given to the ALS Association.

Merry was born December 24, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN and adopted by her parents, Lawrence and Delores (Hillman) Weaver.  She graduated from Irondale High School in 1977 and received her nursing degree from UMD. She raised two boys, Brad and Zack. On May 20th, 2005 she married Elaine Lossing. Merry worked as a nurse for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed watching horror and sci-fi films, and crafting. Halloween was known to be her favorite holiday. Merry was considered to be a loving, positive, generous, and forgiving person who, with her pure and intoxicatingly nice personality, will be greatly missed by many.

Merry is survived by her wife, Elaine of Mankato; sons, Brad (Danyel) Johnson and Zack (Mikayla) Johnson; mother, Delores Weaver; sister, Karen (Mark) Weaver; brothers, Kevin and Gordon Weaver; ex-husband, Mike Johnson; nephew, Sean (Melissa) Weaver; BFF, Donna Anderson; friends from Garden City; and many loving cousins, extended family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Faye; father, Lawrence; and sister-in-law, Jean.
