Natalie C. Coopman, age 34, of Mankato, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 (Noon) Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held two hours before the service at the church on Tuesday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to MRCI, Mankato.

Natalie was born December 6, 1982 to Douglas and Ramona (Schruin) in Mankato, Minnesota.

Natalie attended school in Faribault, Minnesota at the Academy for the Deaf. She graduated in 2002. After graduation Natalie lived in the Twin Cities for several years before moving back to Mankato and living in her own apartment thru the REM program. Natalie had a great staff that loved her and helped her live independently. Natalie worked at MRCI in Mankato. She had a great love for animals especially cats and dogs. Natalie enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, watching movies and a good tease (Christopher and Coleen), but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She thought the world of her niece and nephew’s and gave the biggest hugs to all that knew her.

Natalie is survived by her parents, Douglas and Ramona Coopman; brother, Christopher (Lynn) Coopman and their children, Dominic and Mackenna; sister, Emily (Clayton) Hoehn and their children, Patrick and Bradley; grandparents; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great aunt.

Preceded in death by her brother, Oliver; grandfather, Matt Schruin; uncle, Johnny Schruin; and great uncle, Kenneth Ganzel.
