Ruth Margaret Severson

Ruth Margaret Severson, age 95, of North Mankato, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in North Mankato.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.

Ruth was born on January 13, 1922 in Lamberton, MN to John and Ella (Werner) Krinke.  Ruth graduated from Lamberton Public High School.  On February 7, 1946, Ruth was united in marriage to Harold Severson in Mankato.  Together, they owned and operated the Severson Real Estate Co. until their retirement in 2000.  Ruth and Harold spent many winters in Arizona.  She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. 

Ruth is survived by her brother, Robert Krinke of Lamberton, MN and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; sisters, Mildred Sandell and Betty Ryan; brothers, Merle Krinke, Donald Krinke, Darold Krinke, and Kenneth Krinke; and nephew, Robert Ryan.
