Pamela Jane Winch, 51 of Mankato, died Friday, January 6, 2017 at her home in Mankato surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Mass will be held 11a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato with the Rev. Andy Olsem officiating. Visitation will take place from 3-7 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N Riverfront Dr., and one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a time of sharing at 7p.m. at the mortuary. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. The family prefers memorials be given to Mayo Clinic Hospice in Mankato or St. Jude’s Cancer Center.
Pamela Jane was born March 22, 1965 to Lloyd and Veronica (Stenzel) Winch in Winnebago, MN. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1983. She celebrated her 25th anniversary at Consolidated Communications formerly Hickory Tech. Pam was a very caring and faithful person. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved children and had many friends. Her smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all.
Pamela Jane is survived by her mother, Veronica “Mickey” Winch; her protective brothers, Mike (Jennifer), Dave (Debbie), and Ed (Deb) Winch; nieces, Sara, Melissa, and Cindy Winch; step-niece, McKena Young; nephews, Jake (Hailey), Logan, and Travis Winch and Josh Ristau; great-nephew, Hunter Ristau and his mother Ashley; uncle, Dick (Joan) Stenzel; aunts, Catherine Borglum, Carol Ann (George) Jacobson, Mary Jane (Vern) Fries, Leona Sisul, and Beverly Tonn; and many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd D. Winch; paternal grandparents, Bert and Emma Winch; maternal grandparents, Leo and Agnes Stenzel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
