Helen Weber, 95, entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2017 from her home at Pathstone Crossing.
Helen was born March 28, 1921 in Mankato to Fred V. Magin and Clara Marie Nielsen (Magin). She graduated from Mankato High School in 1939.
Helen was a lifelong member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, having been baptized, confirmed and married to Raymond C. Weber on September 15, 1940. She worked at various business places, such as Brett's business office, Archer Daniels-Midland Co., Honeymead, and Midtex.
The Webers retired to Lake Washington in 1978. They moved to a hobby farm near Branson, Missouri in 1985. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, stitchery, reading, and traveling. In 1993, she returned to Mankato following the death of her husband. Helen has been a resident at Pathstone for the last 10 years.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Marilyn (Richard) Harkness of Robinson, TX and Sharon (Jeff) Schlingmann of St. Cloud, MN; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Helen left her body to the Mayo Clinic, Anatomical Bequest, which her girls called "Her last act of teaching and generosity".
A private interment at the Eagle Lake Cemetery will take place at a later time.
