Marlene J. Eisel

Marlene Joan Eisel, age 54, of Lake Crystal died peacefully, December 17, 2016, at her home after an extended battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Marlene’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., January 7, 2017 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal.  Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.  Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Marlene was born November 24, 1962 to Raymond and Marion Jean (Austin) Eisel in Madelia.  She graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1981.  Marlene was employed by Crysteel Manufacturing which later became TBEI of Lake Crystal for over 35 years.  She was a proud parent of her son, John following all his academic and sporting activities. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds at her home, horses, campfires with family and friends, and being outside.

Marlene is survived by her significant other, Jerry Roth; son, John Roth; two sisters, Janice (Richard) Leyendecker of Paynesville, Donna (John) Engles of rural Lake Crystal; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Susan (Don) Campbell, Steve (Kathy) Roth, Don (Jan) Roth, all of Lake Crystal, and Deb (Mark) Fredericksen of Waconia; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tom and Mike; and sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen (Larry) Knapper.
