Phyllis Marie Millmann Abbas
Phyllis Marie Millmann Abbas, 87 of Delavan and New Ulm, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.
A visitation will be held from 3pm-6:30pm, Monday, November 28, 2016 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato, MN 56003) with light refreshments. A prayer service will begin at 3pm at Northview. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Please share a memory of Phyllis with her family at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Phyllis was born on the family farm on May 18, 1929 in Faribault County, Delavan Township to Theodore and Viola (Hanna) Harper. After graduating from high school, she was united in marriage to Donald Millmann. Phyllis was primarily a stay-at-home mom when raising their seven children. She later worked at Banquet Foods and Lubitz Grocery Store. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and enjoying her morning coffee while watching the wildlife on her farm.
Phyllis is survived by 7 children, George Millmann of Sanford, FL, Kathie (Doug) Korman of Alexandria, MN, Thomas (Julie) Millmann of Eau Claire, WI, Donna (James) Beckmann of Wells, MN, Beverly (Robert) Wilson of Shakopee, MN, Calvin (Connie) Millmann of Belle Plaine, MN, and Kari (Scot) Schultz of Pine Island, MN; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Jet (Phyllis) Harper of Sanford, FL; and sister, Barb (Carl) Carlson of Delavan, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Donald Millmann; second husband, Ernest Abbas; daughter-in-law, Susan Millmann; and sister, Mary Dunagan.
