Larry Howe Arnold
Larry Howe Arnold, age 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 following a year-long battle with cancer.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4pm, Sunday, October 16 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
Larry was born January 18, 1942 in Greensboro, NC, to Tandy (Ted) and Florence Arnold. He was a 1960 graduate of St. James High School (MN). Following high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1965. He graduated from Brown Institute in 1966 with an Electronic Technician degree. Larry married Bonnie Block February 11, 1967 and lived in AZ for four years before returning to MN. He spent the remaining years in MN, employed at various trucking companies before retiring from Cliff Viessman Trucking.
Survivors include his sister, Wanda (Bill) Ballinger; sons, Darin (Tammy) Arnold, Quinn (Brie) Arnold; daughter, Erica Ricci; grandchildren, Alex, Ariel and Abby Daufenbach, Connor and Nolan Arnold, Nicholas and Nathan Arnold to whom he was very special. We will all miss his humor, kindness, and loyalty to and love towards family, friends, and colleagues.
