Alan Edward Kegley

Alan “Al” Kegley, 74, passed away on October 7, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato surrounded by family and friends.

Alan Edward Kegley was born on July 15, 1942 in LeCenter, Minnesota, the son of Arlos and Frances Kegley. Al’s proudest accomplishment was his service in the Navy, as a Vietnam Veteran. For 40 years, Al owned Mankato Screw Products, but in his free time he enjoyed fishing, playing pool, trap shooting, and Pfeffer. Al loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids, and they were equally blessed by his kind heart and sense of humor.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Susan; children Laura (Kevin) Farthing, and Mary (Nelson) Diaz; grandchildren Peter and Ben Farthing; sisters Betty (Leonard) Tuma, and Barbara (Bob) Dammann; and many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato, Minnesota.
