James M. Ellanson

James Marvin Ellanson, 62, of Lake Crystal died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 at Garden City Cemetery in Garden City.

James was born February 8, 1954 to Alvin and Marjorie (Rollings) Ellanson in Mankato, MN. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1973 and continued his education at Mankato Vocational Technical School. James worked for Napa Auto Parts for over 30 years in Mankato. James enjoyed watching TV and movies, spending time with family, and was known to have a kind heart.

James is survived by his siblings, Ed (Judy) Ellanson of The Villages, FL, Bev Ellanson of Boynton Beach, FL, Arlene (David) Nietz of White Bear Lake, MN, Butch (Nancy) Ellanson of Albany, GA, and Robert (Laurie) Ellanson of Mankato; sister-in-law, Norma Ellanson of Lake Crystal; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delbert Ellanson; sister-in-law, Dene Ellanson; and nephew, Jason Nietz.
