Marge Miller

Mankato resident, Marge Miller, age 83, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Keystone Senior Living.

Memorial service 1:30 pm Sunday at Northview~North Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Steve Kosberg officiating.  A gathering for friends and family will take place following the service until 4 pm at the funeral home.

Memorials are preferred to Andreas Cancer Center or Mankato Hospice, both in care of Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato, or to an organization of the donor’s choice.

Margaret Mary was born May 21, 1933 to Jeremiah and Agnes (Kopp) Meagher in Mankato. After graduating from high school and a couple years of nurses training, she married Robert “Bob” Miller on October 4, 1951 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Marysburg. Together they raised their active and growing family.

Marge is survived by her children, Jean (Bob) Preston, Jim (Sue) Miller, Jeff Miller, Mike (DeAnn) Miller, Jerry (Deb) Miller, Sean Miller, Kevin (Stephanie) Miller all of Mankato; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy (Ray) Funk; many nieces, nephews, and their families. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sons, Pat and Greg, and an infant son; siblings, Sheila, Donna, and Jerold.
