William "Bill" Lindblom

William “Bill” Harley Lindblom, 78, left this world to be with God and his “Sharon” on August 27, 2016.

Born to Kenneth and Bertha (Pleiss) Lindblom on May 22, 1938.  He graduated from Loyola High School.

Bill married the love of his life, Sharon Haefner on August 2, 1958.  Bill was very involved with and supportive to his 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  He achieved his major goal in life which was early retirement at 54 so he could enjoy family and travel with his wife.

Survivors include; daughter, Jan Smith of South Carolina; sons, Mike (Geri) Lindblom of Mankato, Bob Lindblom of Albert Lea, MN, Tom (Marie) Lindblom of Claremont, MN, John (Tracie) Lindblom of North Mankato, Dave (Angela) Lindblom of Plymouth MN; and again 18 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; a sister; a brother; and parents.

In honoring Bill’s wishes, there will be no services other than an immediate family gathering at the gravesite.  Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
