Stanley "P-Nut" Young Jr.

Stanley “P-Nut” Young Jr., 54, of Mankato, died on Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Mankato Mortuary with visitation one hour prior to the service.  A reception will follow at the Morson-Ario VFW Post 9713.  

Stan was born on June 27, 1962 in New Ulm to Stanley Sr. Young and Maxine (Miklas) Ziegler.  On August 29, 1981, Stan was united in marriage to Terry DeVlaeminck.  Stan enjoyed spending time with family and friends and adored his grandchildren.  He loved fishing, working on cars and his cb radio.  He was very set in his ways with a strong personality.  He was a people person who enjoyed life. 

Stan is survived by his wife, Terry; children, Marybeth (Jason) Worden, Lee (Jessica) Young, Amanda Young, and Arrial Young; grandchildren, Dominick, Shayne, Lee Jr., Hailey, Tanley, Lisa, and Tristan; mother, Maxine Ziegler; siblings, Shelly Jensen, Tony (Tami) Ziegler, Shawn (Shawn) Anderson, and Karla (Larry) Harroun; and many special friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his father; son, T.J.; and mother and father-in-law, Henry Sr. and Mary DeVlaeminck.
