Carolyn Mary Hendrick

Carolyn Mary Hendrick died Wednesday,July 13th 2016 at her home in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 North Riverfront Drive in Mankato. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12pm to 2pm at Mankato Mortuary.  A burial service will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Carolyn was born May 1st, 1952 in Mankato, Minnesota to Leo and Edith Kruse.  Carolyn was the youngest of six children. She attended St. Clair High School in St. Clair, Minnesota. After high school she married Isaiah Jack Hendrick on December 1st, 1973 and together they had two children, Leo and Robert. Carolyn was a devoted mother and wife. With Jack, she owned and operated Jack’s Waste Oil Service and later worked at Thayer for 15 years.  In her leisure time she enjoyed researching genealogy, traveling, and spending time with her visiting grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Leo (Jerilea) Hendrick of St. Peter, MN and Robert (Jenny) Hendrick of Mankato, MN; six grandchildren, Ashley Black, Isaiah, Irelyn, Elijah, Gabriel, and Noah Hendrick; one sister, Vera Ann (Jerry) Sullivan;  three brothers, Charles (Jeanette) Kruse, Ronald (Jean) Kruse, Harold (Becky) Kruse; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband; mother and father; and one sister, Dolores (Kenneth) Goettl.
