Bonita Mae Rollings, age 85, of Garden City, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 17, 2016 at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Family interment will at the Lake Crystal Cemetery. Memorials will be given to Children’s Charities.

Bonnie was born July 6, 1930 to Emil and Leta (Wade) Stoll in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1949. Bonnie worked in California and Colorado before returning to Minnesota and was united in marriage to Wilbur Thomas Rollings on November 20, 1953 at the Garden City Christian Church. Bonnie worked at the Lake Crystal Nursing Home, helped on the family farm, and raised six children. She was an active member of the Garden City Christian Church and its Ladies Circle. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling and had traveled to China, the United Kingdom, Spain, Alaska, and across the United States. She cherished her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a caring and generous person. Her smile and humor brought joy to all those around her.

Bonnie is survived by six children, Kevin (Andrea) Rollings of Becker, Cherie (Roger Prestwich) Rollings of Blaine, Cathy Ellis of Chaska, Karen (Jerry) Krueger of Custer, SD, Jennifer (Andrew) Lawver of Garden City, and Emily (Samuel) DeHaven of Luck, WI; fifteen grandchildren, Isaac (Kim) Peck, Kierstan (Nic Sabatke) Peck, Madeline Peck, Garett (Ashley) Rollings, Shane Rollings, Matthew and Samuel Ellis, Ethan and Caitlin Krueger, Amelia, Gabriel, and Megan Lawver, Jacob, Emerson, and Samuel DeHaven; great-grandson, Anders Peck-Sabatke; sister, Deanna Stoll; brother, Donald (Kathi) Stoll; sisters-in-law, Della Stoll, Joanne Stoll, Lula Fleming; and many extended family.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur on September 24, 2013; parents, Emil and Leta Stoll; brothers, Robert, Rolland, and Walter Stoll; sister, Marlys Thelemann; and many dear in-laws.
