Nancy E. Reich, age 73 of Mankato, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Oasis Hospice Center in Buffalo, MN.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held on hour before the service at the church on Friday. Northview- North Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Nancy E. Reich was born November 21, 1942 to Anthony and Helen (Luna) Mata in Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1960. Nancy was united in marriage to Robert “Howie” Reich on June 29, 1962 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato.

She worked in the early years at Herberger’s in downtown and later she worked at Carlson Craft. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed playing darts, cooking, garage sales, dancing, taking pictures, the lake and her family.

Nancy is survived by her two children, Craig (LaRita) Reich of Buffalo, MN, Amy (Roger) Reichel of Mankato; two grandchildren, Alexis Reich and Carter Groen; six siblings, Rita (Tom) Christ of Springfield, MO, Gloria (Keith) Danberry of Mankato, Sheila (Dave) Weaver, Roger (Brenda) Flynn, Ron (Linda) Flynn all of Mankato, Rick (Annette) Flynn of Bloomington, MN; brothers-in-laws; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert 2012; three brothers, Richard Mata, Richard Flynn Jr., Randy Flynn; sister, Lida Ferguson.
