Lorraine Muriel “Tave” Coffelt, age 88, of North Mankato, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Oak Terrace Assisted Living.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Peter.  Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Tave was born July 7, 1927, in Traverse Township, rural St. Peter to Edwin and Edna (Holmberg) Thompson.  She was a graduate of St. Peter High School.  Tave was united in marriage to Jack Coffelt.  She was a secretary for various companies and was employed with State Farm in Honolulu, HI for 20 years.  Tave wanted to experience life in different cities, living in Washington D.C., Miami, Las Vegas, Honolulu, and Phoenix.

Tave is survived by her sister, Ardyce Worrell Christianson of Mankato; nephews, Brad Worrell of Mankato, Randy (Gale) Worrell of Wichita, KS, and Curt (Julie) Thompson Jr. of Long Beach, CA; niece, Debbie Desjardins of Long Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; and brother and sister-in-law, Curt and Thea Thompson.
