Dorothy A. Schiller Dorothy A. Schiller, age 90, of North Mankato, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Oak Terrace Assisted Living, North Mankato.

A Private Family Service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, North Mankato. Interment will be in the North Star Cemetery in St. Cloud. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Dorothy was born June 29, 1925, in St. Cloud to Alfred and Othelia Marie (Engen) Haugen. She married Wilbert Potthoff on October 30, 1946, he proceeded her in death. Three children were born to this union, Carrol, Barb, and Kathy. Dorothy married LeRoy Schiller on June 12, 1970. They resided at Big Birch Lake, Grey Eagle, MN upon retirement, then moving to North Mankato in 2006. Dorothy was employed as a registered nurse at the Veterans Administration in St. Cloud and the City of St. Cloud. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, North Mankato and was active in the Red Cross Board and volunteering, Minnesota Board of Aging, Regional and local aging boards, Sherburne County Welfare Board, Minnesota Heart Association, Developmental Achievement Center, and the Disabled American Veterans.

Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Carrol Meyers Dobler of North Mankato, Barb (Randy) Dombrovski of Mankato, and Kathy (Robert) McGuire of Janesville; five grandchildren, Fred Meyers, Shannon Barke, Stephen Fandel, Lacey Bosch, and Jacob McGuire; ten great-grandchildren; Levi and Tre’ Meyers, Kayle Welch, Logan Barke, Alexis and Tyler Meyers, Elijah, Madison, McKenzie, and Aberlee Bosch; nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Wilbert Potthoff and LeRoy Schiller; four brothers, Melford, Richard, Ralph, and Arthur Haugen; sister, Elsie Farr Dickenson; grandson, Rylan Meyers.
