Neil Andring, age 50, formerly of Mankato, died suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home in Neosho, Wisconsin.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 423 West Seventh Street, Mankato. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive in North Mankato.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Neil was born on November 2, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His family later moved to Mankato and Neil graduated from Mankato West High School in 1984. He also attended Mankato State University. He was a long-time employee of Wis-Pak, first in Mankato and later in Watertown, WI.

Neil had a wonderful sense of humor, was an avid reader and enjoyed many outdoor activities especially biking, running, hiking and fishing.

Neil is survived by his father, Robert D. Andring of Mankato; his mother, Dorothy Andring, of North Mankato; brother, Matthew Andring and his wife, Andrea of South Africa; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
