Shirley Mae Huebl

Shirley Mae Huebl, age 80, of Mankato, died on Monday, May 16, 2016 at her home. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 prior to the service on Saturday.  Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life, Mankato.

Shirley was born on June 22, 1935 in Pine City, MN to Elmer and Lula Mae (VanDyke) Doran.  She graduated from Pine City High School.  On August 2, 1958, Shirley was united in marriage to Howard Huebl.  Shirley and Howard owned and operated the Valley Peddler Antique Shop in Mankato.  Shirley loved attending auctions and enjoyed polka dancing and going to Bandwagon. 

Shirley is survived by her son, Mark (Vickie) Huebl; daughter, Anita (Huebl) Rick Tuomala; grandchildren, Courtney (Joe) Vrtacnik, Derek Huebl, Erin (Joel) Heitner, and Matt (Amber) Tuomala; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Emmett Vrtacnik and Evan and Delaney Heitner; special friend, Chester Radke; and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; son, Kirk; two brothers, Bernard and Donald Doran; and sister, Betty McNeal.
