Dale H. Rehnelt

Dale Harry Rehnelt, 71 of Mankato and formerly of Lakefield, MN, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home in Mankato.

Dale was born November 26, 1944 to Harry and Lydia (Trosine) Rehnelt in Lakefield, MN. Dale attended high school and enlisted into the United States Army where he earned his GED. He served from December 1967 to May 1987. Dale retired in Lakefield where he and his family lived until moving to Mankato to be closer to his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

Dale loved fishing, baking, gardening, watching football and Twins baseball, and most of all, his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. There are no words to describe how much he is loved and will be greatly missed.

Dale is survived by his wife, Jeanie (Spoo) of Mankato; his daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Roberts of Mankato; and his grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; and sister, Rose Winters.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
