Myra Karen Koeppen, age 59 of Mankato, Heavens very special child, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Belgrade United Methodist Church in North Mankato. Visitation will follow the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Myra was born March 7, 1957 to Hugo and Bette (Carlstrom) Koeppen in Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from Mankato East High School. Myra worked at various businesses through MRCI in the Mankato area, her favorite being stay at Pizza Hut. She was a member of Belgrade United Methodist Church in North Mankato.

She is survived by her sister, Chris Jenkins of New Hope, MN; nieces, Alyssa and Angela; nephew Rudy.

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eric; sister, Nancy; brother-in-law, Otis Jenkins.
