Blaine R. Joost

Blaine Robert Joost, age 63, of Mankato, MN and formerly of Oconomowoc, WI, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Laurel’s Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery in Oconomowoc, WI.  Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

Blaine was born March 30, 1953, in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert and Beverley (Ryan) Joost.  He was a 1970 graduate of Oconomowoc High School.  Blaine was an over the road trucker, earning membership in the “Million Mile Club.”  He enjoyed traveling, landscaping, and being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Blaine is survived by his two sons, David Joost and Daniel Joost, both of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Taylor Joost of San Francisco, CA; two step-children; one sister, Bonnie (Dale) Walton of Mankato, MN; one brother, Brad (Barb) Joost of Waukesha, WI; also nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Joost Jr. and one sister, Barbara Ann Joost.
