Beverley Jean Kock, age 72, of Mankato, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. Keith Siverly officiating.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Risen Savior Lutheran School in Mankato.  Northview - North Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Beverley was born May 27, 1943, in Mankato to Alfred and Edythe (McMahan) Brandenburg.  She was a graduate of New Richland High School and went on to receive a degree in Practical Nursing.  Beverley was united in marriage to Rodney Kock on September 21, 1963, in New Richland.  She was employed for over 20 years with Immanuel – St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato and retired in 1998.  Beverley was a member of St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church in Mankato.  She enjoyed knitting and cross-stich, camping, fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Beverley is survived by her three children, Wendy (Paul) Gabica of Basalt, CO, Susan (Monte) Avina of North Mankato, and David (Karly) Kock of Mankato; seven grandchildren, Riley Gabica, Ellie, Whitney, and Courtney Avina, Alisson, Bradon, and Caitlyn Kock; one sister, Karol (John) Ellingson of Irvine, CA; two brothers, Robert (Judy) Brandenburg of Lakeville and Kenneth (Pamela) Brandenburg of Marshalltown, IA; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rodney in 2015.
