Madeline Hyde

Madeline Patricia Hyde, age 90 of Mankato died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Laurel’s Peak Health Care Center. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Mankato Mortuary handling arrangements. Madeline was born October 12, 1925 to Joseph and Glennie (Fingerson) Jakobe. She was a graduate of Loyola High School, member of St. John’s parish and Catholic Daughters. On July 17, 1953, she was united in marriage to Crawford Hyde in San Diego, California. She enjoyed flower gardening and visiting her children and grandchildren, while they lived in Italy, Alaska, Hawaii, and many other states. Survivors include daughter, Vivian Kair, Good Thunder; three sons and their wives, Carl (Teri) Hyde, Salt Lake City, Utah, Michael (Vickie) Hyde, Enterprise, Alabama, Jeff (Kim) Hyde, Eagan; two sons-in-law, Greg Reinhart, Lewisville, Texas, Lowell Spee, Fairmont; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte “Kit” Carson, Santa Clara, Utah, Muriel Henderson, Mankato; nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, infant twin brother, sister, step-brother, and two daughters, Kathy Reinhart and Cindy Spee.
