Lola Evelyn Schartel, age 98, was called to be with her Savior on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Brookdale Senior Living in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mt. Olive Church, Bethany Lutheran College, ELS Seminary or Thoughts of Faith.
