Daniel James Reichel

Daniel James Reichel, 42, of Lakeville, MN, formerly of North Mankato, passed away suddenly and peacefully in his sleep of cardiac arrest, Sunday, February 14, 2016.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12-2 p.m., at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.

 Danny was born June 5, 1973 in Waseca, Minnesota to Dann (Boom) and Eileen Reichel. He grew up in Mankato with his parents and younger brother Ben Reichel. Dan was a graduate of Mankato West High School. Danny graduated from Riverland Technical College with a Construction Electrician Diploma and completed his apprenticeship training. As a Journeyman Electrician he was currently employed by the city of Minneapolis, and member of IBEW Local Union 292. 

Danny was an amazing and dedicated father, son, friend and co-worker.  He enjoyed spending time with his family fishing, hunting, playing video games and just being together. He brought a ray of sunshine and a warm sense of humor to everyone he came in contact with, touching the hearts of whomever had the pleasure of meeting him. Danny will be missed dearly and cherished forever by all of his loved ones.  

Danny survives through his daughters, Sydne and Ellie Reichel of Albert Lea; fiancée Donnell Hauck of Lakeville, MN; his parents Dann and Eileen Reichel of Mankato; brother, Ben and his wife Jenn Reichel, nephew and niece Ethan and Addie of Cottage Grove, MN; and many other family and friends.
