Sheila Marie Leiferman

Sheila M. Leiferman, age 44, of North Mankato, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home.

Private service will be held at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Sheila was born on April 30, 1971 in Racine, WI to Robert and Marilyn (Van Swol) Sorenson.  She graduated from Case High School in Racine, WI and attended the University of WI, Parkside.  Sheila worked at Le Sueur Inc. as a process engineer for the last 20 years.  On July 18, 2015 Sheila was united in marriage to Robert Leiferman.  Sheila enjoyed baking, flower gardening, and fishing.  She had a great love for her pets, but most of all loved spending time with her family.  Sheila always put others before herself.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Julia Putz, Gordon Putz, Brad (Irene) Leiferman, and Crystal Leiferman (Paul Schulz); granddaughter, Mariah Schulz; father, Robert (Cecelia) Sorenson; mother, Marilyn McGovern; siblings, Joseph (Deven) Sorenson, Francine O’Claire, Charles McGovern, and Donna (Robert) Merriman; and many nieces and nephews.
