Michael William Oddy

Michael William Oddy, 66 of Mankato, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.

Michael was born March 11, 1949 in Mankato to William F. and Berneice L. (Maher) Oddy. He graduated from Loyola High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from South Central College. He served in the United States Army Reserves and was later honorably discharged. Michael drove for Kato Cab for over 11 years and was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, fishing, camping, and art.

Survivors include his sister, Mary (Norm) Doering of Idaho Falls, ID, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Oddy, Joseph Oddy, and Bernie Oddy.
