Jerrold Lewis Anderson

Jerrold L. Anderson, 69, of Madison Lake died February 6, 2016 at his home.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Eagle Lake Church of Christ, 21441 Marble Road, Eagle Lake, with visitation from 4-6 p.m.

Jerry was born February 3, 1947 to James and Eleanor (Parsons) Anderson in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1965. On October 11, 1974 he married Nancy Kay Baker. Together they raised three sons, Jeremy, Jeff, and Justin and later divorced. Jerry worked 27 years for MICO, Inc and 15 years for the Mankato School District as a custodial engineer at East High School and Franklin Elementary School. He was also a member of the Eagle Lake Church of Christ.

Some of Jerry’s favorite activities included watching NASCAR, having breakfast with his retired friends, and driving his Mustang convertible. Most of all Jerry enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially getting together for Sunday lunches. He will be greatly missed by many.

Jerry is survived by his three sons, Jeremy (Angie) Anderson, Jeff (Leah) Anderson, and Justin Anderson; grandchildren, Arian, Amos, Avery, Milo, and Leo; brothers, James (Bev) Anderson, Donald Anderson, and Dennis Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, June.
