Patricia Ann Wheeler

Patricia Ann (Boily) Wheeler, 84, of Vernon Center, MN passed away January 10, 2016 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester, MN.

A private funeral service will be held at Lake Crystal Mortuary.  Burial will follow at the Vernon Center Cemetery.

Pat was born May 15, 1931, in Carlton, MN, to Jeffrey and Dorilla (Godbout) Boily.  Pat grew up in rural Wrenshall, MN and graduated from Wrenshall High School in 1949.  After high school, she worked for many years as a secretary/bookkeeper in Duluth and downtown Minneapolis. 

On January 30, 1965 Pat married Glenn Wheeler at the Basilica in Minneapolis, MN.  They made their home in Vernon Center for 49 years.  Pat helped out in Glenn’s construction and woodworking business.  She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Vernon Center.  Pat was a wonderful homemaker and excellent cook.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing scrabble.

Pat is survived by her children, Scott Wheeler of Vernon Center, MN, Beth (Mark) Liebenow of Plainview, MN and Stuart (Oksana) Wheeler of Dodge Center, MN; three granddaughters, Amber and Jasmine Liebenow, and Katya Wheeler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff (Eloise) Boily, of Ponca City, OK, and Jim (Delores) Boily, of La Jolla, CA, brother-in-law, Richard Wheeler of Vernon Center, MN; special cousin, Kathryn Vigliaturo, of Carlton, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
