A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Marian will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato, MN. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.Marian was born in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota on September 25, 1917, to Theodore Bernard Hanson and Catherine Helen (McKay) Hanson. Marian was united in marriage to Robert William Klinger. She worked as a secretary at Mankato Area Vo-Tech (now South Central College) until her retirement in 1989. Marian enjoyed keeping active by walking, sewing, baking, and spending time with her Great-Grandchildren. Marian was very active with her church and loved meeting and visiting with everyone. Marian loved life and all the people she met along the way. Marian will be sadly missed every day by her daughter, Diane Huettl of Mankato; granddaughter, Danielle Kulseth of Minneapolis; great-grandchildren, Avie Grace Kulseth, Jada Marie Kulseth, Addison Page Kulseth, and Regan Rose Kulseth all of Mankato; and many nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Vern Hanson and Earl Hanson; and great-granddaughter, Lexie.
