Terry Michael Goughnour

Terry Goughnour, 64, passed away surrounded by family after a short battle with pneumonia on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Terry was born on February 14, 1951 to Arthur and Doretta (Finnegan) Goughnour in Mankato. Shortly after the family moved to Madison Lake. Terry attended Janesville Public School and was active in his earlier years in the Madison Lake church. Terry was united in marriage to Betty Burpo and they were together for 18 years until his death. Terry worked at Hiniker Company for the past seven years as a welder. He enjoyed his job and those he worked with. Terry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bible studying, long walks on Saturdays to enjoy nature, music, and spending time with his family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Jason; two step-sons, Armon Elder and Richard Burpo; two grandchildren; and brother, Mark Goughnour. He was preceded in death by his parents.
