Christopher S. Prodoehl, age 31, of Mankato, died on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his home.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16 from 1-4 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary with a sharing of memories at 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Midtown Tavern.

Chris was born on September 21, 1984 in Mankato to Joel and Fay (Sprenger) Prodoehl. He graduated from high school and was a certified HVAC technician for Kaduce Plumbing and Heating. Chris enjoyed traveling and tubing and kayaking on the river. He loved spending time with his friends, family, and especially his daughter, Erin. He had a unique talent of bringing people together, he was always grilling and brought an abundance of food wherever he went. Chris liked going to the casinos, growing plants, and attending music festivals. Chris was always giving “high fives”.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Erin Willard; girlfriend, Sarah Barna; mother, Fay (Martin) Underdahl; father, Joel (Brenda) Prodoehl; two brothers, Dustin (Cathy) Prodoehl and Andrew (Mariah) Underdahl; two step-brothers, Alan (Shaina) Whipps and Matthew (Amy) Whipps; step-sister, Lindsay Whipps (Eric); and many nieces, family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and aunt and uncle.
