Helen Ann Lamm, age 91, of Mankato, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Cottagewood Assisted Living.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2016, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Mankato.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.  Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Helen was born March 26, 1924, in Grand Forks, ND.  She was the daughter of Joseph and Teresa (Hable) Weimert.  Helen was a graduate of Loyola High School in Mankato and also attended the Mankato Teachers College.  She was united in marriage to Bernard Lamm on July 24, 1945, in Mankato.  Helen was a homemaker for her family.  She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.  Helen enjoyed baking, sewing, reading, spending time at their lake cottage, and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her three children, Larry (Diane) Lamm, Barbara Thielges Johnson, and Robert Lamm, all of Mankato; five grandchildren, Daniel (Heather) Thielges, Thomas Thielges, Melissa Johnson, Brigette (Allen) Martinez, and Andrew (Jacquie) Lamm; three great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard in 1999; three brothers, Louie, Jerry, and Edward Weimert; and a sister, Alice Benson.
