Margaret M Grams

Margaret M. Grams, 100, of St. Clair died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.

Funeral Service will be 11 AM, Monday December 28, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM, Sunday December 27 at the church and one hour before the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorials preferred, in lieu of flowers.

Margaret was born September 1, 1915 to Francis and Margaret (Bowe) Maloney in Decoria Township. On November 12, 1935 she married Walter Grams.

Margaret was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Clair, Home Extension Club, and very active in church. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going on bus trips to the casino, and traveling, including several trips to Europe. She also enjoyed gardening, and raising chickens. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. Margaret was known for being a hard worker and a caring and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Charles (Carol) Grams of St. Clair, Dorothy (Dennis) Novotny of Bloomington, MN, Mary Lou Gulden of Olympia, WA, Monica (Terry) Schmidt of Cleveland, MN, and Bill (Jane) Grams of Winthrop, MN; sisters, Catherine Hinton of Fremont, CA, Marcella (Joseph) Bloom of St. Louis, MO; brother, Neil Maloney of Modesto, CA; sisters-in-law, Linda Maloney of Lodi, CA, and Marion Hinton of Jackson, MN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1983; parents; sisters, Mary and Gertrude; brothers, Francis and James; and son-in-law, Patrick Gulden.
