Harvey Viet, age 95, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015, at Pathstone Assisted Living in Mankato.
Memorial Service will be held in the spring in Parker, South Dakota with interment in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker, South Dakota. Northview – North Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Harvey was born on April 26, 1920 in Parker, SD to John and Elsie (Mies) Viet. Harvey was united in marriage to Lois Janssen on April 27, 1941. They shared their lives together for 74 years.
Harvey is survived by his daughter, Pat (Steve) Davis of North Mankato, MN; son-in-law, Gene Moody of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; daughter, Pamela Moody; and granddaughter, Teri Moody Stark.
Harvey’s Family expresses gratitude to Pathstone Crossing for their excellent care and concern for their residents.
