Patricia (Tricia) Ann Honda of North Mankato, Minnesota, age 38, died on November 19, 2015 in North Mankato.
Services will be held on November 28, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 1851 Marie Lane, North Mankato, Minnesota. The viewing will be at 9 a.m. and the funeral at 11 a.m.
Tricia was born November 28, 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Masaru Honda and Annette (Black) Honda. Tricia was raised in Sandy and West Jordan, Utah. She was also raised in Rexburg, Idaho and North Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from West High School in Mankato, Minnesota in 1995. She attended Ricks College in Idaho graduating in 1997. She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and attended the University of Utah. She, also, took a two year course in massage therapy, graduating in only one year. She worked in many jobs while going to school and afterwards. She attended Salt Lake Community College graduating as a Personal Trainer.
Tricia was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for about 2 years, something she enjoyed very much. Tricia loved to read the scriptures and listen to the tabernacle choir. She was a very kind and sweet person. She loved all people and loved doing kind and caring things for them. Many people called her a friend. She endured many things that not many people knew of or could understand. Her hobbies were beading, making cards, crocheting and finding gifts for others.
Tricia was preceded in death by three grandparents: Violet Ruth (Newton) Black, (Sandy, UT); Angus Clinton Black, (Sandy, UT); Masayuki Honda, (Idaho Falls, ID). She was also preceded in death by an aunt, Linda Ann Black, (Sandy, UT). She is survived by a grandmother Kazuko Honda (Laurel, MD); her parents, Annette and Robert Honda (North Mankato, MN); two brothers, Kenneth (G.J.) Honda, (Fruita,CO); Stephen Honda, (Newport Beach, CA); and a sister Candice (Tony), Harding, (Winnebago MN). She is also survived by 10 nieces, nephews and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
