Mankato Mortuary 1001 North Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 507-388-2202 Victoria "Vicki" E. Fennern, age 83 of Mankato, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Vicki was born March 27, 1932 to Herman and Ella (Schweim) Fennern in Jamestown, North Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Jamestown. Vicki graduated from Jamestown High School and Jamestown Business School. She worked as a legal secretary for numerous law offices in Jamestown, St. Paul, Anoka, and in Mankato for the Farrish law office. Vicki was an artist all her life. She enjoyed painting and flower arranging, painting and collecting clowns through the years. Vicki loved cooking for her family and caring for her dogs. Her love of music lasted a lifetime, playing, guitar and listening to folk music. Vicki is survived by her sister, Helen Stelter of Mankato; brother, Gilbert (Dynella) Fennern of Forsyth, MT; nieces and nephews, Karen Stelter, Mark Stelter, David Stelter, Dawn Wiltermood, Todd Fennern, Brian Fennern; great nieces, nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; good friend Marge Hansen. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Eleanor Thompson and Irene Fennern; nephew, Paul Stelter.
