Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Friday November 6, 2015 Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, North Mankato. Burial, Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday, Northview- North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the donor's choice. Michael E. Sack was born May 20, 1950 to Alfred and Erma (Henry) Sack in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1968. Michael served his country in the National Guard for seven years. Michael was married to Sherry Storjohann on August 10, 1974 in Mankato. He worked for 26 years in the Farm Implement Business as a parts manager for Case-IH. Michael then worked for Taylor Corp, Companies retiring on May 22, 2015 from Label Works. Michael was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. He served as a goal judge for MSU hockey for over 25 years as a WCHA off ice official. He enjoyed Maverick Hockey, the Twins, Vikings, yard work and a Jack of all trades. Michael's family meant the world to him. Survived by his wife, Sherry of Mankato; daughter, Brittany (Brian) Crock of Mankato; two sons, Brandon (Kristin) Sack of Ham Lake, Garrett Sack of Mankato; grandsons, Aiden and Bennett Sack, Caleb Crock; brother, Al (Mary) Sack of New Richland; sister, Gloria Sack of Mankato; mother-in-law, Trudy Storjohann of Rochester; sisters-in-law, Nancy Sack of Mankato, Melodie (Robert) Rastedt of Steven's Point WI, Bianca (David) DeLone of Rochester; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Storjohann of Boise, ID; aunts, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Diane; two brothers, Gerald and Roger and two infant grandbabies; father-in-law, Loren Storjohann.
