Sherri Lynn Utzka

Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home 307 Main St. E. Mapleton, MN 56065 (507) 524-3616 Sherri L. Utzka, age 51, of Mapleton, died on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato. Funeral service will be, Tuesday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home in Mapleton and will also continue one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Mapleton. Sherri was born on September 18, 1964 in St. Paul to Raymond and Lois (Myers) Riemenschneider. On January 19, 1991, Sherri was united in marriage to Jeff Utzka. They later divorced. She was a nursing assistant for many years and most recently worked at Marketplace Foods in Winnebago. Sherri enjoyed camping, motorcycle rides, listening to music, gardening, and playing bean bags. She was on a video bowling league and dart league. Sherri is survived by her three children, Krystle Riemenschneider and her children (Sherri's grandchildren), Carter, Madison, Payton, and Rylie Arends, Jacob Utzka, and Carly Utzka; mother, Lois Walker; significant other, Ken Harms; ex-husband, Jeff Utzka; nieces and nephew, Bonnie, Raymond, and Cheyenne; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond and brother, Raymond Todd.
