Thomas G. Gustafson

Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Thomas G. Gustafson, of Mankato, died October 1, 2015. A private family service will be held at the Minneopa Cemetery, rural Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Thomas was born in St. Paul to Reuben and Ardis (Faudskar) Gustafson. He attended St. Paul Vo-Tech College and Rasmussen Business School. He worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Jobs and Training, as a machinist and accountant for many years and then in the IT department at Mankato State University from which he retired. Tom was a Mason and was past Master of Fellowship Lodge 257 in 1981. He was a member of Garnett Lodge and the St. Paul Valley Scottish Rite. He had a passion for railroading and loved photography and hunting. Tom is survived by his brother, Steve; Nieces, Britta and Maja and nephew Andrew; and extended family. Tom was proceeded in death by his parents and his sister, Kathryn.
