Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Joyce Ina Mueller, age 75, of Madison Lake, died Friday, October 16, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 9, 2015, at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Calvary All Saints Cemetery in Madison Lake. Joyce was born on October 31, 1939, to Harold and Ina (Pearson) Mueller in Mankato. She graduated in 1957 from Mankato High School. On August 17, 1957, she married Robert Alderman. They later divorced. Joyce was employed by Brick Manor in Arco, Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, and also was a homemaker for her family. Joyce enjoyed crocheting, yardwork, playing cards and solitaire, polka music, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Dry Riders Club in Mankato with her special friend, Lauren Guentzel. Joyce is survived by her four children, Raymond (Pamela) Alderman of Marshall, Elizabeth (special friend, Donald Murphy) Johnson of Astoria, SD, Debora (Jake) Sanow of Marshall, and Laura Alderman of Madison Lake; fifteen grandchildren, Jessica (Henry) Courtney, Jason Alderman, Sierra Juhl, Natasha (special friend, Tim Lawrence) Alderman, Jeremy (special friend, Mindy Wahl) Alderman, Jasmine (Mike) Mack, Brian (special friend, Amanda Bauer) Johnson Jr., Naomi Sanow, Derek Alderman, Danielle (special friend, Travis) Sanow, Tessa Sanow, Jesse Manahan, Mitchell Manahan, Zachary Manahan, and Hannah Manahan; twenty great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Richard) Fernandez of California; two brothers, Phillip (special friend, Karen) Mueller of Missouri and Louie Mueller of St. Clair; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Todd Kopp; sister, Audrey Kopp; sister-in-law, Diane Mueller; and special friend, Lauren Guentzel.
